We would like to inform you about the current situation regarding the Micro Inverter SUN600G3 from Deye.
The regulatory body Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) is of the opinion that the inverters should be temporarily disconnected from the grid, which we tell our customers to do.
Our R&D department has already developed a technical solution (External Central N/S protection device), the admissibility and conformity of which with the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4105 norm is currently being checked. We will inform you immediately as soon as this technical solution has been approved. Customers receive then a free retrofit, which means that the inverters can then be reconnected to the grid immediately after the installation of the retrofit.
How you can order the External Central N/S protection device and what we need from you for this, we will publish on this website. After ordering you will receive this device free of charge within a short period of time.
It is important for us to assure you that neither the manufacturer nor we are aware of any danger that would arise from the operation of the inverters. We are not aware of a single incident in which damage to people or material has been caused by this product. As compliance and customer satisfaction are our focus, we will also investigate other micro inverter models. Our technical solution, which will shortly be ready for installation, will be made available without cost to every customer who bought one of our micro inverters.
