Recognition across Germany and Australia highlights the relevance of Deye
's integrated approach to residential energy storage in diverse market environments. The Deye 16kWh All-in-One Home ESS received the 2026 EUPD Research Top Innovation Award in the Energy Storage category in both markets, reflecting its scalable architecture and Deye's ability to translate evolving household energy requirements into market-ready solutions.

Dual-Market Recognition from EUPD Research

The EUPD Research Top Innovation Award recognizes product innovations in the renewable energy sector through a multi-stage evaluation process involving installer feedback, an external panel of industry experts, and EUPD Research's internal analyst team. Entries are assessed against criteria including technological advancement, uniqueness of innovation, environmental impact, market disruption, and market applicability. This evaluation framework positions the award as an independent endorsement of technologies capable of delivering differentiated value to the energy market. For Deye, recognition in both Germany and Australia reinforces the relevance of its product development strategy across two distinct residential energy storage markets.

Germany is an established European market where residential solar and storage systems are increasingly expected to deliver efficiency, intelligent energy use and long-term operational value. Australia, meanwhile, combines high rooftop solar adoption with strong demand for self-consumption, backup power and equipment suited to demanding outdoor conditions. Recognition across both markets demonstrates the adaptability of the Deye 16kWh All-in-One Home ESS and highlights Deye's ability to address different household energy profiles, installation environments and market expectations through one scalable platform.

The Australian award was presented during All Energy Australia 2026 in Melbourne on October 28, 2026.

The Innovation Behind the Recognition

The Deye 16kWh All-in-One Home ESS is an all-in-one, low-voltage stackable home energy storage system integrating a hybrid inverter and LiFePO₄ battery into a single system. Each battery module delivers 16 kWh, enabling equivalent system capacity with fewer modules than conventional 8 kWh stackable configurations. By stacking up to six modules, the system can scale from 16 kWh to 96 kWh and can be paired with single-phase inverter options from 3.6 kW to 12 kW or three-phase options from 5 kW to 20 kW.

A defining innovation is the DC-DC-free battery architecture, which eliminates the DC-DC converter on the battery side, reducing standby consumption to near-zero and supporting longer storage periods. The system also features an offline, LoRa-based wireless zero-export solution with CT monitoring that can operate without an internet connection, supporting deployment in regions with unstable connectivity. Under controlled test conditions, the system supports short-term immersion in 0.5 m of water for up to three hours, strengthening its resilience in demanding outdoor environments.

With IP66 protection, peak inverter efficiency of 97.6%, support for 200% PV oversizing, a battery cycle life of more than 8,000 cycles and streamlined installation, the system provides a scalable home energy platform incorporating smart load management, time-of-use (TOU) optimization, EV charging and 4 ms on/off-grid switching. These innovations also contribute to sustainability throughout the system's lifecycle. Higher solar self-consumption, enabled by 200% PV oversizing and intelligent TOU scheduling, can reduce reliance on grid electricity, while the DC-DC-free architecture minimizes standby energy losses. Its LiFePO₄ battery, designed for more than 8,000 cycles, and its high-capacity 16 kWh modular design further help extend system life, reduce the number of modules required and limit material use.

From Product Recognition to Stronger Market Confidence

Receiving the 2026 EUPD Research Top Innovation Award in both Germany and Australia reflects Deye's sustained investment in product innovation, system integration and market-specific product development. Beyond the product itself, the dual-market achievement demonstrates the relevance of Deye's integrated approach across different residential energy environments.

As residential energy storage adoption continues to expand across Europe and Oceania, households increasingly require more than battery capacity alone. Reliability, scalability, installation efficiency and intelligent control must work together within a unified system. By combining these capabilities, the Deye 16kWh All-in-One Home ESS helps households increase solar self-consumption, strengthen energy resilience and gain greater control over electricity use.

Recognition in Germany and Australia therefore represents more than a product distinction. It reinforces Deye's commitment to developing practical and competitive energy storage solutions designed to meet evolving household and market requirements worldwide.
